GREY WATER REUSE AND RECYCLING SYSTEMS | SPRAC ECODEPUR® BIOX PRO

Surface installation:

Grey Water Reuse and Recycling Systems (SPRAC) ECODEPUR® BIOX PRO are solutions intended for the reception and treatment of grey water (bathtubs, showers and washbasins), adapting the quality of the treated water for secondary uses (toilet flushes, irrigation, firefighting reserves, among others).

ECODEPUR® BIOX PRO system allows to significantly reduce domestic water consumption, resulting not only in an effective contribution to water resource preservation, but also in an advantageous investment with economic return.

Operation:

The SPRAC ECODEPUR® BIOX PRO system receives wastewater from the installation after use in showers/bathrooms and sinks.

After a grading operation, designed to retain coarse solids that may inadvertently enter the drainage network, the effluent is sent to the biological reactor.

The SBR (Sequencing Batch Reactor) biological reactor operates using the activated sludge process, under medium load.

After this step, the clarified effluent is pumped to the Filtration/Disinfection Module where a pre-determined amount of disinfectant solution (normally sodium hypochlorite) is added to the effluent in order to eliminate the pathogenic potential of the effluent and make it viable for a pretended reuse.

The treated water is subsequently pressurized to the secondary network, where it will be used to feed the toilets, irrigation system and/or wash floors.

It’s suggested to apply Grey Water Reuse and Recycling Systems ECODEPUR® BIOX PRO in all new constructions and rehabilitations, developed for different applications:

• Schools;
• Hotels;
• Among others.

This system is easily installable in the construction phase, and its installation can also be considered with advantage in phases of remodeling and / or rehabilitation.
