ECODEPUR – Environmental Protection Technologies was awarded the INOVADORA COTEC 2026 Statutes, a leading certification scheme that recognises companies that stand out for their capacity for innovation, financial strength and commitment to sustainable development.
Awarded by COTEC Portugal, in partnership with the country’s leading financial institutions, this status recognises organisations that transform ongoing investment in innovation into sustainable growth, value creation and consistent business performance.
The 2026 edition marks the 6th edition of the initiative. Over the course of its various editions, the COTEC INNOVATOR Status has recognised around 1,800 Portuguese companies, with 1,160 statuses awarded in the 2025 edition alone, of which 277 were awarded to companies receiving the distinction for the first time.
This recognition reinforces ECODEPUR’s position as a leading company in the environmental sector, highlighting its ongoing commitment to technological innovation, process efficiency and the creation of sustainable solutions for the protection of natural resources and responsible development.
In 2026, the initiative also began to incorporate the new qualifier EVOLUTION, designed to recognise companies with the highest levels of maturity in innovation and sustainability management, in line with the latest European guidelines.
