Sustainable technology for reusing washing water
Water originates from a variety of sources, including surface water, groundwater, rainwater, and seawater. Each source presents distinct physical, chemical, and biological characteristics.
To be suitable for its intended uses, water must be properly treated to ensure the required quality standards are met. Our water treatment systems are designed to address the challenges posed by different water sources and their potential contaminants.
The ECODEPUR DEPURWASH Washing Water Treatment and Recycling System is designed to guarantee the best value for money and fulfil the following objectives:
- Manage and recycle all washing water;
- Optimise the use of recycled water in both the washing and rinsing phases, thanks to the quality of the treated water;
- Eliminate the contaminant load present in the wash water;
- Prevent any bacteriological risk in the reuse operation;
- Facilitate use and maintenance by automating the recycling system;
- Ensure high quality washing operations;
- Comply with current legislation regarding the rejection of treated water.

Why waste this water?
The recycling system has been designed so that the effluent produced has class A quality, as defined in Table 1.a of Annex I of Decree-Law no. 119/2019 of 21 August, which establishes the legal regime and standards for the production of water for reuse, namely for car washing. Class A quality water is required for car washing.
