Technology MB-SBR (MOVING BED SEQUENCING BATCH REACTOR)) is a cutting-edge technology in the field of sanitary and environmental engineering, currently widely tested and validated. It combines the main advantages of the two most widely used treatment techniques: activated sludge and bacterial beds.

This is a sequential discontinuous biological treatment process that integrates biological media with a high specific surface area in suspension, allowing a high density of biomass per reactor volume, resulting in more compact, preforming and reliable treatment units.

As with the SBR (Sequencing Batch Reactor) system, the MBSBR (Moving Bed Sequencing Batch Reactor) is mainly characterised by the fact that the aeration and settling stages are carried out sequentially and cyclically in the same tank/reactor.

ECODEPUR® MBSBR (MOVING BED SEQUENCING BATCH REACTOR) biological reactors incorporate ECODEPUR® OXYBIO® HD biological support, which stands out for its high specific surface area and excellent hydraulic behaviour.

ECODEPUR® also offers complete support for installation, commissioning, maintenance and operation. ECODEPUR® MBSBR OXYBIO® HD reactors can be equipped with the instrumentation and sensing required for real-time telemonitoring and remote management of control parameters; flow rates and volumes of treated water; electrical consumption and equipment operating status, ensuring optimised system operation.
