The ECODEPUR® OILTECH is a system designed to separate and retain hydrocarbons present in wastewater from car parks, garages, petrol stations, industrial estates and other areas prone to contamination by oils and fuels.

Manufactured from highly resistant and durable materials, the system ensures efficient and sustainable treatment, guaranteeing that the discharge of treated water complies with applicable legal pollution limits. Its gravity separation technology, combined with a high-performance coalescing filter, effectively removes oils and suspended particles, producing a clean final effluent that is safe for the environment.

The OILTECH model can be equipped with an Automatic closure device, which prevents the release of hydrocarbons in the event of separator saturation, thereby enhancing operational safety. Its modular design facilitates installation, inspection, and maintenance, making it an ideal solution for companies seeking efficiency, reliability, and full environmental compliance.

Oil Water Separator admits non-chemically emulsified oily water containing hydrocarbons with densities between 0.85 and 0.95. The heavier materials (sludge, sand, etc.) sediment in the pre-sludge trap zone and are retained there. This compartment also retains hydrocarbons that are in easily floatable forms. Only water and substances lighter than water, namely the hydrocarbons to be separated, pass into the separation zone. The separators are equipped with a coalescing filter, which allows the smaller oil particles to aggregate into larger particles. Aggregation of the particles increases the upward force sufficient to release them from the main flow lines towards the surface. In this chamber, the hydrocarbons accumulate on the surface, while the treated water exits through the bottom of the equipment.

The Oil Water Separator is equipped with an automatic closure device (massive anti-miscalibration system), which prevents hydrocarbons from escaping once the equipment's maximum holding capacity has been reached, thus preventing contamination of the receiving environment. The operation of the Oil Water Separator does not require energy consumption and is based on the gravitational separation of materials with a different density to water, assisted by the presence of an oleophilic coalescing cell.
